Marble Arch is a white Carrara marble monument near Speakers' Corner in Hyde Park, at the western end of Oxford Street in London, England.

In 2000, I stayed a night or two at the hotel behind the red bus in the picture. The story told that the arch was moved to its present location because Queen Victoria's new coach wouldn't fit thru the opening. Actually, I never got to see from this side. My stay was very short. Thanks for the nice pic!
