* The Torburg was in the 3rd Expansion of the city from 1180 to 1259 (from 1228 to 124

built and secured the northern access to the city (street after Neuss). It was the second gate of this name. During the 2nd Expansion of 1106 was the first Eigelsteintor 100 m south of the current facility (north of the Roman North Gate - Porta Aquila also later Pforte Pfaff) is hereby established.
