and, of course, all roads lead to Rome...;) seriously, this painting is awesome but... well... there was that character Nero who burnt the Rome and blamed it on Christians, Trajan (the intruder), Constantine, Roman philosopher Marcus Tullius Cicero: “Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but parent of all others.”, Brutus (vengeful politician/senator), Borgia family who poisoned each other for power, Romeo and Juliet (delete that), Vivaldi (my favorite), Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, Berlioz, Vincenzo Salvatore Carmelo Francesco Bellini, Claudio Monteverdi... & tons more. Lots of good stuff but also lots of badness... aaah, such is life... when in Rome..., oh and roads..., thank you Romans;);)
