Bland compared to early 70s

I remember living in Austin in the early 1970s...only the Capital Building and UT Tower could be seen. Now, it's overcrowded and no longer unique, but not as bad as Houston.

I remember when Austin was a nice, sleepy college town with the Capital and UT Tower the tallest buildings in the city. Now it is as bland as most other American cities.
