Wallpaper Description:
Carnaval Boulevard des Capucines is a painting by Impressionist painter Claude Monet in 1873.

This table shows the strength of Carnival in Paris. After the Carnaval de Paris 1869-1870, the Franco-Prussian War prevented the next Carnival. It has even been banned by the Paris authorities. Paris has experienced great hardships, the siege and civil war. In 1872 Carnival resumed. Her vitality enables it to serve as grounds for the painter Monet year after.

We discover here, seen from the balcony of a building, an aspect of the "line of the Grands Boulevards," which was at that time, the Mecca of the festival. On the right, two men, elegant in top hat hat contemplate the crowd invaded the streets and vehicles litter the floor.
