Beehive shaped ovens were privately owned until 1956. There are six of them. White Pine County about 20 miles south of Ely, Nevada Hwy 93. Each oven is about 30 ft high with a 27 foot base diameter. Operated from 1876-1879. Each oven held 35 cords of wood.
